During the past decade, I have written two nuclear war movie books:

Below to the right is a link to my well-reviewed McFarland book Apocalypse Then: American and Japanese Atomic Cinema: 1951-1967, which received an NPR endorsement. It covers everything from monster movies to more serious nuke films from the 1950s and early 1960s.

Below to the left  is a link to my more recent McFarland book Watching the World Die: Nuclear Threat Films of the 1980s, which is the first book to solely analyze 1980s nuke movies as a group. Films covered include classics such as WarGames, The Day After, and Threads.
